Ravenswood, a city located in Jackson County West Virginia along the Ohio River has always been a place of dark history. The town was built on a tract of land once owned by George Washington. River boats used to travel the Ohio River and Ravenswood was a major stop along their way. During the civil war a battle was fought about a mile north at Buffington Island.

 I grew up going to church and my parents teaching me about life after death. But I guess being taught and really believing are two different things. I mean you can be taught to believe and you think you do till that moment when someone you love and are close to passes on. That’s when you find yourself starting to wonder in the back of your mind what really happens when you die.

I took this photo myself some years ago. I was traveling east bound on I-90 just around Erie PA when I looked towards the north and saw a strange cloud formation. When I arrived back home I placed the SD card from my phone into my computer to get a better look.

Because of modern day technology Santa no longer needs reindeer to pull his sleigh until his sleigh breaks down just days before Christmas. Now Santa is on a search to find his reindeer so they can once again pull his sled.
